I don't care that woodstock isn't second hand. However, if your house is NOT REALLY quiet, you won't hear Christmas carols unless you're standing right next to it. I bought a Halloween themed Peanuts watch at the same time as this one and the sound is the same, very quiet. I'm definitely not impressed.

Nice watch but despite the fact that it says so on the box the watch DOES NOT PLAY the Linus and Lucy song which is disappointing. He plays a different classic Christmas carol every hour. There's also no back panel to cover the batteries. The quality is ok, all plastic (most of the money goes to Peanuts copyright) but it's a very nice Christmas decoration that I'm happy with.

Music is almost inaudible even when the clock is in the same room. And the sound you hear is cheap and tinny, and that's just a tiny part of the anthem being played. I can't even figure out which anthem was assigned to 7 because it's so bad. The watch itself is also not the same as in the picture. There is no Woodstock on the clock. I would send it back but my son loves it because it's Charlie Brown and Snoopy so I'm sticking with it lol.

A Christmas carol plays every hour which was fun and festive and got my 4 year old learning more about telling the time! Now I need a year round clock that chimes the hour to keep up with it ;) One thing I would like to say is that the Halloween clock we bought had a sensor and therefore it 'belled' softer " when it was dark in the room. Not this one - the Christmas carols are played at full volume anyway. If you're sensitive to sounds while you sleep, it's probably going to drive you crazy.

I carefully read all the answers to the question that Woodstock is 'second hand' and they all said YES . Mine doesn't have a wooden stock on both "hands" or anywhere else. Also, the tunes played on mine range from barely audible (6 feet from the watch) to easily audible across the room. The volume is determined by which song he chooses to play. Even at a reasonable decibel level, the music sounds pretty high pitched and harsh. Luckily, the sound stops when the electric eye detects darkness. The
