Marvel Captain America Shield Pewter Review

Typically licensed key fobs are cheap and usually made of plastic. They never look as good as they do on the product picture and they never last. Luckily, the Avengers line of keychains is an exception. This keychain is awesome! The colors are bold and the whole thing is solidly made of metal. I was skeptical at first because the colors in the photos weren't that good. Also, everyone has $1-3 keychains instead of $6-7. I bought it because I've loved Captain America since I was a kid. When I opened it I was surprised because it was SOOOOO BRILLIANT AND BEAUTIFUL! I thought it would be heavy and was afraid it would make my keys heavier. I just ordered it and from other reviews I've read that everyone says it's really good quality and it is! The picture of this key fob is not accurate as personally I don't really like chrome and when I saw the picture I wasn't thrilled but after reading the reviews and what everyone said it was really good quality. and it was worth it, i decided to get it. Has a good sense of hardness, so I doubt it will bend or warp easily - a real problem if you travel a lot - but even in the plastic it looked kind of dirty and not very shiny . I tried cleaning it a bit but the paint started peeling off. Now it looks battle-hardened, which is consistent with the movies but not as good as a gift.

Love the design, love the color. Nonetheless. The color of this keychain fades very quickly leaving a silver disc. . As for the keychain, it's still hanging on a keychain and hasn't broken for more than a year.

Gosh, this is the coolest keychain I've ever put on my keys. It's literally a miniature sign in your pocket! And also! It also opens bottles! Great keychain but useless in real combat. It's getting harder and harder to block live fire in combat, but that won't stop my mate and I from doing our field trials in the future. *Update* My buddy is an absolutely terrible marksman.
