Worked as expected. It took me less than 30 minutes to seal my full size memory foam mattress to fit in the back seat of a Toyota Prius. I ordered this vacuum bag for a 9 inch memory foam mattress. The material feels solid and thick. Of course, I would like a thicker plastic, but this product is suitable for the application. UPDATE - It didn't stay compressed. A few hours after I finished packing and writing this review, I heard a noise coming from the room where it was stored. Went in and saw that it buckled around the straps. I'm pretty sure it's either a zipper that doesn't fit or a very flimsy and cheap valve. Maybe the seams in the pocket. I'm going back and will try a different brand. I've read that any mattress that comes to you compressed can be compressed again. I have used this on an innerspring mattress…
