Decided to try this color just to see how it is. I had eye surgery 4 years ago and had some issues with my photo gray reading glasses when driving - too much glare. They work great. These are not my first Maui Jim sunglasses. But my other pair has an old recipe that doesn't work. My eyes are constantly changing. My red pair is available over the counter and is very good for use in the California sun while driving.

I love these things. The most beautiful glasses I have ever had and they are worth every penny. They're great for driving in all weather conditions, especially on overcast/overcast days, as the polarization and high-quality lenses make things brighter and offer excellent contrast and depth. I've been a huge Maui Jim fan for a few decades and actually have a few. This Kawika fits me well and suits my face shape well. However, Maui Jim needs better quality control. Spring hinges do not work properly. The frames should snap back in and out but they don't and I feel like the hinges don't work properly at all so I had to go back to the seller.

I bought these as a replacement after losing my original pair. I am a regular Maui Jim customer and this is absolutely fake. The front mirror image is wrong, the cheap lenses are embossed with the Maui Jim logo, they are curved and are a different weight than the originals. Extremely disappointed in the seller - IG BAND B.

I was very hesitant to buy these sunglasses because of my previous experience in the biggest sunglasses store that every mall has. This is the real deal, polycarbonate lenses that come in a Maui box, clamshell and lens cloth with straw. They are inexpensive and you cannot be disappointed with these shades. Definitely recommend if you are trying to get the best quality, fit, finish and most importantly Maui Jim guarantee.

Was Sent to us. We ordered a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, Kawika H257-16C, from Zappos Retail Inc. What was sent to us was clearly a fake Maui Jim. The sunglasses arrived in a ripped and torn Maui Jim box with no seal. The box had a barcode LPN RR 66931 7787 on the outside. There was a wicker Maui Jim suitcase that was dirty and it contained a Maui Jim owner's booklet that was also used and dirty.
