Reading section is below and rises to 1.50. That's disappointingly small. Eventually I lift my head to look at more reading material. Would come again if I hadn't already used them on holiday. They are super light which is amazing. The gray lenses are very clear, but I would switch to amber if I could. I wish MJ had more reading opportunities. Too bad none of the stores stock them. We're all getting old, MU! Give us more choice!

Always a fan of Maui Jims, these readers never caught my eye. After getting used to bifocals, they work great. I have a large head so the straight nylon temples fit perfectly (unlike other curved metal temples). Addendum: I still love these bifocals (2 years later), but be careful when walking (or jogging) in them. Bifocals can alter your depth perception through footsteps, curbs, and uneven terrain.
