Great product in headphones

Bought these when they were only $3. loved her. I only wish I had bought more of these for $3.00. I use at least 4 pairs of headphones a year. It's much better than the dollar store. Now if they can bring the price down to $4.75 with shipping I will buy them again.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Angry

Excellent but cheap in headphones

In short, great sound, very comfortable. One of the few headphones that actually stay in my ears when I put them on. But they don't last long. I use them often and they only seem to last 6 months to a year before I have to replace them because one of the buds is failing. But they are so cheap that I don't mind.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

They are pretty bad

I bought them when the pair I was using died suddenly. In a hurry to find new headphones, I bought them from the local pharmacy because they were the only in-ear headphones they had. I regret not having chosen another brand. Not only are they pretty thin, but the sound quality is terrible. The cheap $4 headphones I've bought online in the past have had better sound quality than these. I expected more from Maxell. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on it.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Painless listening for headphones

In-ear headphones, or Jbuds as I'm told, are a vast improvement over their predecessors. it feels almost nothing. one day we will press a button and the sound will go straight to us, without wires and without disturbing the neighbors. at the same time this is the solution. I have used Sony and Skullsomething and they are all good. The only issue I have with the Maxell is that the wires get tangled and straightening them is an adventure. but I wanted black and couldn't find any others. little…

Pros
  • There's something to it

The ONLY headphones for falling asleep, waking up weightlessly

My set lasted almost 2 years and I fell asleep in it at night to drown out the noise. They're smaller than any other I've found, and thanks to the dual silicone gasket, they do a better job of noise-cancelling than clumsy noise-cancelling kits. The smaller speaker diameter means these are the only headphones small enough for women and teens. They also hold up better in the gym than my much more expensive Sonys. You are almost weightless. The Koss sound better but they are made for men and are…

Terrible headphones

I bought these in ear headphones from a local shop because the headphones that came with my MP3 player broke and I needed something urgently. Only one earplug worked and it was very annoying. I buy them and the first thing that strikes me is thin and not very strong wires around the earpiece. The next thing I noticed was the poor sound quality. The highs are muted and the lows are too strong for these things. I have a Sansa e260 and although I usually turn the volume to the middle, I had to…

Pay an extra $5 for the Skull Candy Liners.

Maxell Peanutz are the worst headphones I've ever had. I lost the rubber earbuds from my old, great sounding $15 Skull Candy earbuds and impulsively bought the Maxell Peanutz at Walgreens. The fact that I bought it from Walgreens and thought so badly about posting a review here should tell you something. I hate them so much that I hope I can save at least one person from the complete rubbish that this product is. They were so tinny and awful I thought they weren't wired properly. you were I…

Not as expected, good for headphones

I have purchased many Maxell products in the past and have always been satisfied. Not this time. I received them today for a number of reasons. I needed a set of black headphones, I liked the in-ear look without anything superimposed and the Maxell name. While they sit comfortably in my ear, the sound is definitely lacking. As expected, the mid-range sounds good and powerful. The highs are difficult to diagnose and the bass is definitely weak. Even when I turn on Bass Boost in my MP3. Another…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
