This suit has buttonholes on the shoulder straps to close the back, but no buttons. I could only use it to sew on buttons (which I will) or tie it and the straps are really too thick to tie easily. It's also a lot bigger than the last one I ordered in the same size a few years ago. It hugs the waist and hips equally, but has a larger cut-out in the back to allow it to hang down. Disappointing when I reordered this particular suit because I loved the last one I had as much as this one I wore.

This suit is fantastic! I've been swimming 4 days a week since I bought it and it's holding up great. For some reason Maxine's costumes would be too long even if they were labeled as long, which they really aren't. The crotch hangs four inches below your body. It was the same problem as a year ago when I reviewed these suits. Choose another brand and save time and money. There is no point in ordering another suit as it will be the same in my experience over the past year. There are several swimsuits of this brand. Liked because of my big chest and how they fit. My height is 5 feet 6 inches. It seemed to me that it was for someone about 6ft from where the top is. The bra is pathetic. Spilled everywhere. Too embarrassed to post a landing photo. The strap also has two buttons. in tightening them found it strange, never seen before. Received this the other day after getting a great price on the daily deal. Since I'm a rather buxom person, I always play it safe and order one size larger. It didn't go so well this time. It's a bit big almost everywhere, but still wearable. Although most sarongs don't hide anything. One cannot say whether it actually has a slim function. Not very tight, so comfortable, but it doesn't really hide a potential problem area that way. A template might help. I still doubt if I find that flattering…

I bought this suit to replace an old Maxine of Hollywood suit of the same style. When it arrived I was surprised to see that it was now 100% polyester instead of the nylon/spandex combination of my old suit. Unfortunately, this means that the suit no longer stretches.
