Better incandescent.

Excellent bulbs. Our bathroom has 16 of these bulbs and it's bright! I should have bought the 40 watt equivalent instead of the 60 watt equivalent but that's my fault. We simply pull back at 8 to get the right level of light.

Pros
  • LED bulbs
Cons
  • No power

Ok but the base is taller than expected

The base rises higher on the glass than other Maxlite bulbs I have so in some of my lights where the bulbs are exposed they don't rise as much to look good. I had to swap bulbs for other bulbs to compensate. Keep that in mind if it's important to you. I don't know how long they will last. Other Maxlite bulbs I've bought have been great in everyday use for years. Some GE brand LED bulbs start to flicker very badly and become unusable after a month or two, so I'll stick with the Maxlite brand.
