Real Stainless Steel Screws

This is a good product for use on decks where a lot of element damage is expected. I hope that when I want to change the decking boards I can just unscrew them and not have to use a pry bar. They're pretty strong, but I broke 1-2 when screwing them into hard wood. Use a magnet to make sure it's actually stainless steel (they aren't magnetic).

Higher Cost But Superior Product

Not as brittle as decking or drywall screws, but flexible as nails. But they have the connecting/holding power of the screws. Self-tapping and drives easily into hard wood without splintering. It's a bit more expensive, but a small price to pay in a large project scheme for it to last and be reliable. Revain charges $2 more per box, but you have convenient shipping options if you don't live near Home Depot.

Disrespectful Consignor

I love these screws and have used them a lot on my outdoor patios. The reason I give one star is because the yahoo who packaged my screws apparently dropped them and the lid came off and they spilled out. Instead of putting them back in the container and sealing it, they simply put the lid back on the container and reinstall the screws. Some of my screws are probably still on the shipper floor. They were all over the bag when I received them. Great screws, disrespectful shipper.
