This card from Promise is designed for very high loads, why? I've been using this card for a long time without any problems. I bought this card to repair a server that had hardware failures after several power outages. The card was intended to replace an allegedly defective identical card. So far, so good. But for fault tolerance reasons, you'll probably need to upgrade to modern hardware.
