These tires have a maximum pressure of 75psi. The maximum pressure on the Gatorskin Hardshell is 95psi, so I'm assuming they ride softer. Great tires you expect from MAXXIS. I had a set on my MTB and love them too. So this is a TR and the air retention in the TR Stans is rim tested even without sealant. With the sealant, you can now confidently tackle long rides without a pump, spare hoses, or a storage bag to lug around. After 500 miles one of them started developing blisters the size of several cents in the center of the tread. Five have emerged and I will have to remove them for security reasons.

I run race tubes, do special interval training on a Wahoo Kickr, and Re-Fuse tires are my favorite training tires for trail riding. They have made me irresponsible as I no longer carry a spare tube, lever or pump. My near roads are a joke, a terrible state. They can handle anything, and riding at 65psi couldn't be more comfortable. No problem, always being one step ahead. I ride them on a Cannondale SuperX, 1x configuration, 40T chainring, 11-36 cassette. all is well.

I took them to ride my GT Grade which is really used as a multi-surface gravel/road/adventure bike.
