This product applies evenly without lumps and is very quick and easy to apply. Applies like a smooth natural mascara. It's black, but it also looks quite natural, which I like better. I would like it brown but I don't think it comes in brown as far as I know. Holds up pretty well I thought. I received it quickly.

I bought this product because I knew it was not a permanent eyelash color. I wanted something similar to Benefit's They're Real Tinted Lash Primer, which is basically a non-permanent mascara. This Maybelline product is just terrible. It flakes off profusely and the tube dries up after just 2 weeks of use. It also clumps quite easily. The result is too dry, flaky, and clumpy to actually be an eyelash primer or lash tint. It's more like a terrible mascara.

I've been a fan of Lancome Cil's Booster Primer for years, but a few months ago I heard about a 'tinted' eyelash primer and set out to find it. What I love about the shade is that you don't have to apply tons of mascara to cover up a white or pink foundation that can often leave your lashes clumpy and heavy. This primer also has a liquid formula which I prefer. I don't like thick lashes (like Twiggy has these days). The end result of primer and 2 coats of my favorite mascara is well defined and

Surely this didn't work for me. Something about it makes my eyes react and itch/sore. I noticed it the first day when I put it on and when I took it off everything was fine. I tried again the next day with the same result. Then I didn't use it for a couple of weeks and when I tried it for the third time my eyes responded the same as before. I was hoping to get away from the white primer but so far this is the best for me.
