Works surprisingly well.

Works surprisingly well and seems pretty accurate. Small enough to fit in a pocket so you always have it on hand. However, the supplied adapters must be expanded.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Not so good, best in CB and radio

At first I thought this was exactly what I'm looking for, but upon closer inspection it turned out "Not so, McGee!" First, the accuracy is 5% (+/-). In any case, a deviation of up to 5% in my accuracy measurements is unacceptable. Also, the battery isn't listed, so who knows what type it is? Again not much! Finally, the dummy load isn't the 10W that the new HTs and walkie-talkies are designed for. Only 5W, which is typical for most portable radios. Why are SWR meters only 5 watts? I want my 10W

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
