Disappointing XXL Costume Pattern

I had high hopes for this pattern, but unfortunately it fell short. My analysis of this product showed that the sizing was not accurate, and the directions were confusing and difficult to understand. While the idea of creating custom costumes for arts and crafts projects was appealing, this pattern did not deliver. The only pro was that the overall design was decent, but that doesn't make up for the cons. I would not recommend this pattern to anyone, especially those looking for larger sizes.

Pros
  • Provides patterns for XX large costumes, accommodating a wider range of body types and sizes.
Cons
  • May present a challenge for individuals with very small body types or children who require smaller sizes.

Outstanding sewing pattern

The pattern is excellent but complicated and not for beginners. Tip: Don't try cheap gabardine. This cut requires a good wool fabric with a good shape. Polyester doesn't hold its shape well enough and the coat looks messy. That's a waste of work.

Pros
  • Historical men's four-piece set consisting of a coat, waistcoat, trousers and tie.
Cons
  • I will write later

Very complicated. Not recommended for beginners.

This is a very advanced pattern that could be a lot easier for us laypeople - we still have to sew on the sleeves. When the sleeves were finally sorted out, my mom accidentally sewed one of them inside out and had to be attacked with a seam ripper again. Fewer and fewer people are sewing and you don't have to wonder why when they aren't making very practical patterns anymore! The fitted sleeves are RIGID. My mother has been sewing for forty years, it has taken hours and hours and it is not half

Pros
  • Sewing Template includes sewing patterns and instructions for making (4) period costume pieces.
Cons
  • Don't remind me
