Good braces, bad belts

Lifting is generally good. It fits well and doesn't get as hot as the neoprene wrap I had previously. The straps that attach to the brace itself are of very poor quality. They're thin and they bunch up the first time you put them on, resulting in a bulge that's right down the middle of your back.

  • Many positive emotions

  • Negatives are present

Shoulder pain and discomfort

Yes, it helps, but it can do a lot more. For me it's still worth the price. In order to reduce the cost of production, it has design flaws. Let's fix it anyway. The strap is where the downside is. The idea of what it does is that it works, it helps relieve my pain and makes my shoulder movements easier. If I would buy it again, yes I would.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Small problems

Crazy Braces, Splints and Supports

I can't give a 3 1/2 rating so I'm being generous. It's not a terrible bandage by any means as it holds up well when worn, but the sling has a bad habit of riding up under my armpit and unless you're wearing a guinea pig t-shirt or tank top for an undershirt, the velcro on the cloth rubs on the skin, which is also annoying. If these designs change it could be on the way to 5 stars

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Some Errors

sits well on the shoulder and biceps, plus the material.

fits the shoulder and bicep well and is a great alternative to neoprene which can cause excessive sweating. But I can only give 3 stars because the strap that goes around the chest and back is too thin and flimsy. The strap keeps twisting because it is very thin and very uncomfortable and difficult to adjust. The strap needs to be wider to solve this, or maybe there is some sort of plastic or other hard material attached to or in it that acts like a spine to keep it from twisting and turning…

Pros
  • Fabulous

  • Replacement Availability

Amazing product in category Medical Consumables & Equipment

I needed a brace for my shoulder and my orthopedist's office just gave me a crappy and uncomfortable one, asked the surgeon what brand he recommends and works best everything and he said the McDavid brace is what I really need and the insurance won't cover it. So when I got home I went and found the exact brace he told me he would prefer I wear as I would get more therapeutic benefit from it and it would help aggravate the injury and speed healing time with more support than cheap insurance…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I will write later
