🏋️ McDavid Achilles Tendonitis Compression Gear Review

Wow was that thing really a piece of crap and not what I used to see on McDavid products. The one I received fit at least a full size or more than the chart on the product page and was therefore totally useless as a general ankle brace, let alone for applying enough pressure to support an Achilles tendon deformity. Definitely recommend looking elsewhere.

When I put the sock on, the gel pad on the heel is higher than shown in the picture. As such, it doesn't offer the cushioning I need where I need it. I've tried pulling the sock down on my foot to change the position of the gel pad, but the sock keeps going up. This is a great concept and I'm very disappointed that it doesn't work for me.

I ordered size SMALL - the smallest size available. I am an adult and wear size 7 women's shoes. This ankle cuff was too big when I first got it. After washing in medium temperature water and tumble drying at medium temperature, it is still too big. Does not provide support. Perhaps it would suit a sumo wrestler. Or maybe it will satisfy the hypochondriac who wears it for attention because the black one I ordered is definitely beautiful.
