Easier to use than other ankle braces and offers excellent support. I bought size XS which barely fits my small ankle, you can choose bigger size. I got the XS to work, but the S would probably be a little more comfortable.

I fractured both sides of my ankle and fibula and dislocated my left ankle. I needed good braces after the boots I was in and this helped! I can walk again and it keeps my foot and ankle secure. One thing for me, I need heel support so I applied Dr School Heel Gel and it works great for me! However, I would say that I have a small foot, 6.5 and narrow, and I don't think the small size would suit someone with a much larger foot. I'm not sure if this item can be returned. Just for info

These braces (I use two) support my ankles which have practically collapsed due to bone on bone arthritis. Although my athletic days are long gone, these braces at least help ease my discomfort and allow me to walk. The phantom ankle wrap is almost as good as wrapping my ankle without the skin irritation and discomfort associated with taping.
