A company that knows what customer service is.

Needs McDuory customer service and that's what I got, customer service. Thanks McDuory Now for the long version. I took on the task of cutting the umbilical cord ($180 a month) for my 73 year old mother-in-law. i know what i was thinking After 40 days I discovered that a small part of the antenna was not working properly, then I did something I had never done before (because of all the war stories I had heard), contacted support. Not only did they respond in less than a few hours over the…

Multidirectional? - TV antennas

This antenna is said to be multi-directional (according to the description) and has multiple antennas (top and bottom). However, you cannot point the top and bottom antennas in different directions. It picks up stations that are a few degrees apart, which is better than a directional antenna. But at my location I have to separate the directions of the antennas by about 20-30 degrees and this antenna doesn't receive all the transmitters around me because it doesn't separate the signals…

great antenna best audio and video accessories

This antenna is for my mother-in-law. She's really tired of paying for a satellite when it doesn't offer all the channels she wants to watch but charges her a tidy sum. Due to the location of her house, she only gets 8 satellite channels, which aren't exactly the channels she likes. hope for. I suspect she needs a bigger antenna with longer range so I picked that one for her, 150 miles. The antenna arrived in good condition. It was pretty easy to assemble. I contacted McDuory support (I…

Great HD Antenna - Accessories and Consumables

I really like the picture quality because I live in a valley with lots of trees around me. Now I get over 60 channels with better quality than cable for many. My antenna was missing the nut and bracket for mounting the UHF bipolar antenna, but I had one that worked. The instructions were good except for a confusing drawing that didn't seem to apply to the antenna model I bought. In my situation, I was able to use an existing bracket I had at home for an old plate satellite receiver, which was…

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Ugly packaging

So I have an antenna with power in the attic on the second floor of a house about 30 miles outside of Dallas. I had trouble picking up channels 23 and 8, but with this antenna I was able to see those two channels just fine. When it arrived I didn't install it for several weeks. When I did, I found I was missing a part. I emailed the people I bought it from and let them know. They asked me to confirm the purchase which I easily did by looking at my Revain account screenshots and within 2 days I…

Works well - hopefully holds up

=UTF8&psc=1) was able to get but the GET only went through after six months of use. Several companies make a similar/accurate antenna to GET, including McDuory. McDuory with built-in amplifier (one on the antenna and one on the power supply) performs better than the Mediasonic antenna (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C1YL16Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00). ?ie=UTF8&psc=1) with a StarTV splitter/amplifier (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071P864XJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc…

Great product and customer service!

After 10 years my old TV antenna had to be replaced. My roof was replaced where I had my old antenna so after removing it it was damaged due to age and stopped working properly. I lost the VHF channels so after some good reviews on that particular channel I settled on this one. I had to find a way to mount it high enough on the pole to get a good signal. Well I found a solution to this problem and after installing it (with no amp connected) I got most of my channels back. I live in Houston and…

Works well but not impressive and out of specs

We recently ran a cable and I installed this antenna on the roof to receive OTA broadcasts. It works decently, but even with the booster lights on on both the antenna and the Power Injector, I don't get close to 150 miles. I'm getting signals 50-60 miles away, but certainly no further. I know there are many other stations within 100 miles that I cannot pick up which is disappointing compared to the performance of this antenna. I noticed that rotating the antenna made little difference, but even
