📱 iPearl mCover Hard Shell Case for 11.6" Acer Chromebook 11 CB3-131 Series with IPS HD Display (New 2016 Model, Purple) - NOT Compatible with Older Acer CB3-111 Series Review

I bought my first green Dell Ipearl laptop case about 4 months ago and I love it! So when I bought the chrome book, the first thing I did was see if they made it for her and ordered it straight away! Same specs, 2 minute latch to install, protected corners, 2 fold down legs and bottom vents! I bought 2 cases and am happy with both!

I bought this to cover the Acer Chrome Book 11 (Celeron N3060, 11.6 inch CB-132-C4VV). At first I wasn't sure if it was worth buying because the reviews say it doesn't fit properly. However, after unboxing the 2 pieces snapped together perfectly with no problems is quite tight, doesn't feel as secure as the other side (I'm guessing what it could be. It had to do with handling as the top cover was slightly bent, but it does what it's supposed to do and makes my book a little smoother.

Even after everything snaps into place there is one corner (the underside next to the power plug) that just doesn't fit right. It doesn't push back against the unit - I can push it down about 1/8" to lean against it, but it comes back. I'm not sure if it's warped or bad design. I have a feeling that it is the material breaks if dropped but I feel good that there is a protective layer to protect the device. If I had to do it again I would just use a zip case and leave it out.

Dropping or bumping into your computer is inevitable at some point. This hard case perfectly protects your computer from life's many mistakes. Also, since the Acer Chromebook is all white and dirt, dust, food, and fingerprints are definitely not white, the case also does a great job of keeping your computer clean. Matches my computer perfectly which I was concerned about as I have the CB3-132. But the color wasn't what I expected. It's more of an orange-neon pink. And the plastic is transparent and kind of thin. I think I was expecting a more true pink color to be fully opaque and strong. I still like it and will keep it on my laptop. In general everything is fine. I wasn't as impressed as I thought after reading some of these reviews.

The one star review was probably given by someone who owns a 111 and purchased the wrong product. I bought this case with my Acer Chromebook 11 (CB3-131) and installed it straight away. My cover arrived on time as expected. It was so easy, just click. It only took 5 seconds and does exactly what I wanted: add a pop of color, fit nice and snugly, and protect against fingerprints and smudges. I bought this item and the delivery was very good and fast. I have a refurbished model of this Chromebook and have found that the top fits but the bottom slides out a bit when I try to fold it up and use it in iPad and tablet mode. I would recommend this product to anyone who only uses their computer in computer mode and does not minimize it. I also like the pins on the bottom that support the computer.
