They are good for "set it and forget it ".

They're pretty durable. Unlike some others of varying lengths that I have ordered at the same time as these from different manufacturers, these are perhaps the best of them. No, these aren't Neutrik connectors, but they do come with rubber boots on the connector to reinforce the internal cable connection, which is a definite plus. If you don't plug and unplug them a lot, they should last a long time. Serviceable? As a last resort yes as spare parts. Yes. But I think you want to spend a little…

Excellent cables for the price

Overall I am very happy with these cables. They are very well made and the price is great. I use them to connect my Crown amp to a pair of Hsu subwoofers. Subwoofers have five terminals, so it's good to have banana plugs on the speaker end and neutral plugs on the amplifier end. There's just one small issue that brings the star down; Arrangement of banana plugs. They stick out too far perpendicular to the connectors. With one set this does not cause problems with the plus and minus alignment…

Hard wearing, good value for money

Thick speaker cables to connect the top to the cabinet. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality between this and the instrument cable I used. But I bought them on the recommendation of a technician who suggested that (1) they were designed for a specific application, (2) they are less likely to fail due to the larger diameter, and (3) all of my instrument cables are fairly old and as far as they have a limited have a useful life, they may be nearing the end of that life.
