It's not that I don't like the product, it obviously needs a separate fitting to hang over the door which is not supplied with the product becomes. The bars that allow the unit to hang on the door need to be attached with a set of screws that screw into the ends of the knurled bars, but they aren't supplied, forcing me to go to the hardware store. How painful.

This is a great choice when trying to decide between this ironing board holder and any other. We originally bought an iron with a top that held it in place, but our iron was too big for it. This one was better because it has room for a larger iron and other accessories and nothing falls out when the door is opened/closed. The ironing board is easy to hang on a shelf. I love that I was able to hang it over our door without screws.

Arrived early and in good condition. Came with door and wall fittings. I wasn't expecting a wall mount, but this was a welcome surprise. It looks great and holds up the iron and spray perfectly. Overall this product is good. One aspect of this product that I think is a design flaw is that you cannot lock the length of the door hooks. If your ironing board is as heavy and long as mine, you need to put it up against a wall. When I installed these on the back of the door and hung the ironing board, the slide rails continued to slide until the ironing board was on the floor. Mine arrived broken in a large box with no padding or packing material. I did not repurchase because of the lack of craftsmanship that made me question the integrity and durability of the item. When it arrived I couldn't hang it on the door because the weld connecting the bracket (which goes on top of the door) to the main beam with the basket on top was broken. I really liked this item because it looked like it could hold anything including an ironing board. And that's how it was until we discovered that there's more to this topic than meets the eye. Or should I say eye level! After hanging it on the door and putting an ironing board on it, we found that the ironing board dragged across the floor. It works, but I wouldn't call it an "elegant" solution. It's designed to either hang on an interior door (which I do - my closet door is 1 3/8" and fits snugly - that's the target size) or wall mounted - it comes with a set of 2 Supplied with Phillips slots. cap screws and dowels. I bought this because it says it can be hung over a door or on a wall. I attached it to the wall. I put one screw in the rack and the other in a plastic wall anchor that I bought. DO NOT use the cheap anchors they give you - they are useless and will not hold up over time. These are the ones I've used and they're great: Hillman Group 41415 Pop Toggles.
