I bought this because it says it can be hung over a door or on a wall. I attached it to the wall. I put one screw in the rack and the other in a plastic wall anchor that I bought. DO NOT use the cheap anchors they give you - they are useless and will not hold up over time. These are the ones I've used and they're great: Hillman Group 41415 Pop Toggles. Design criticism - with wall mounting you can not remove the door brackets. So they kind of get in the way and hang there after being mounted on the wall. Another complaint is that it's almost impossible to turn two wall screws with a standard screwdriver or drill/screwdriver. The metal basket will require a screwdriver at least 3-4 inches long to reach the left screw. I had to use an extension screwdriver to get to the left screw: Irwin Tools 1948779 extension screwdriver with 5 impact bits. So just put it in the shopping cart. Otherwise, it holds the ironing board perfectly and there is enough space in the basket for an iron and a can of starch or a bottle of water.
