Most of the time when I buy something and there aren't good reviews I still get a great product that I'm happy with so I expected it to be the same. I couldn't assemble it as it didn't have a drilled screw hole. The shelves that come with it seem to be of poor quality and I'm not sure if they can hold the items I wanted to put on them. Unfortunately this one is back.

The pictures in the item listing looked good so I had high expectations. It arrived in a flimsy box with holes, all hardware missing, and the wood, which looked like cheap pine or chipboard, was dented in many places. A complete waste of money. It's not even worth my time to send it back and I'll save myself the headache of trying to send it back. Straight into the trash. Problem solved.

great shelf. I previously ordered one for my bathroom and loved it so much I ordered another one. The second one I bought didn't live up to the expectations I had of the previous one I ordered. Everything is colour-coordinated and sized, with no missing details. Only downside was the brackets and shelves were broken, no matter how many times I had to disassemble and reassemble it, the brackets broke. they don't even exist, which was a big disappointment.

I really liked these shelves and bought three of these over my boys beds to put their books and things on. Two of them were pretty easy to put together, but the metal pieces didn't fit well together and we had to fiddle with them a lot to make the shelves look even. The holes are too small for holes in steel. The steel rod did not match the holes. Nothing was square. I had to use some self tapping screws for the front and reposition the holes in the steel to fit properly. The steel bar was too short and the pieces of wood were too long. The wooden shelf brackets were not rectangular on the sides and all had to be bent. The supplied anchors did not work. This is definitely NOT the shelf you are looking for so do yourself a favor and mind your own business. Just move on to the next item as it doesn't. The instructions are useless, the metal parts are bent and warped. Wood is the softest wood I've ever seen in my life, if it's real wood it's almost like a dense sheet of foam. This is a really nice addition to any room. Three things I haven't mentioned are the stain, the quality of the wood, and the inaccurate measurement of the distance between the second shelf. The stain comes off easily and the wood seems very cheap, but for what I paid for it, $28 a shelf, it wasn't a bad deal. If you are looking for real wood shelving then this is not for you. I ordered 2 of these for children's rooms. The first was great and connected easily, but the second had the shelf brackets bent. I had to spend a lot of time and effort straightening them out with pliers before I could put them back together. Also, the metal cross members on both seemed to have drilled holes at slightly irregular intervals. I was able to install them, but the screws had to be angled in opposite directions for them to work. I needed drywall. A small problem with the installation
