Mediflow Thread Count Quilted Pillow Review

I bought this cover and Elite Fiberfill Waterbase at the same time. The shell is everything. It gives the pillow some structure as well as extra padding at the top of the pillow. The pillow is pretty soft, but that quilted padding is just a nice touch.

Personally, this cushion has too much padding for me, which determines the firmness. I really expected more from a waterbed where most of the cushion is filled with water to my preferred level and covered with a thin layer of padding, but that's not the case. When I pulled the pillow out of the box it was just like a normal pillow and didn't even have any water in it.

I bought this pillow to help with my Chiari anomaly. I could never get enough air and/or water into my pillow for a really good night's sleep. I also always felt like maybe I accidentally damaged it while sleeping which made a big wet mess in my bed so I didn't sleep well. I've read that this pillow has helped a lot of people and I'm glad to hear it. This was highly recommended on my support pages. Thank you!

NOBODY in their right mind would call this luxurious! It is NOT very soft AT ALL and is made of very cheap material. I washed it before use and after just one wash, half of the stitching came undone. Somehow my normally soft and comfortable pillow became hard and uncomfortable. Probably because it fits so snugly against the pillow that it doesn't leave room for the filling to move to the sides when you lay your head on the pillow. Goes in the trash.

I bought this water pillow case. But I don't use it for that. This made this pillow too hard for me (I love this pillow and I'm very picky about pillows). Not keen on returning it, I tried it on my signature Indulgence pillow and it works great. This will make the pillow a little softer and more comfortable. I alternate between a water pillow and a pamper pillow every week, which keeps me from waking up with a stiff neck. So I recommend Pillow Protector.

Excellent pillow. I woke up with a sore throat and a pinched nerve. I haven't had this problem since I've been using the pillow (months). Removing excess air takes time, but it's worth it. I find I need to top up every few months. It doesn't leak. it just evaporates. Some others have mentioned mold/fungus but I haven't had this problem. I accidentally spilled water on it but followed the instructions and let it dry completely before putting a protective cover or pillowcase over it.

My neck is fused twice. Currently C5-C7. I have a very hard time finding a pillow that will properly support my neck and still prevent cramps. Other famous pillows I've bought actually made my neck cramp. My colleague told me about this pillow. Her chiropractor suggested this to her. I bought it and fell in love with it from the first night I used it. It's been two weeks since I've used it and I haven't had any cramps at all. I wake up from a very restful sleep feeling great. No other pillow can match a pillow that is so easy to adjust. I have 3 herniated discs in my neck and my sleeping position will determine if I wake up with a throbbing headache. I fill the pillow about 1/3 full with water for the perfect density and flexibility to support my head and neck. I had one a year ago that lasted over ten years. After that, I tried something else that just couldn't compete with Mediflow. My only issue is that I would like to see a little less polyester in the pillow…

We bought these pillowcases for our newly purchased water pillows (which we both love!) and are very pleased. I took them out of the box and was very impressed with how soft they are! Very nice and matching embroidery.
