Insufficient light output

The light output is not enough as a backup. Received a list of questions to answer when attempting to return, outweigh the cost of the lamps. It's just not worth it.

Bright but Thin: External Accessories

The case is quite thin and can easily break when screwed into place. Mine was installed a little over a month and my LED has already burned out. LEDs are very bright but not that durable.

Plastic, brittle, best lighting

later IF you have a curvature in the mounting surface. These are NOT the lights you are looking for. First there were a few dead LEDs right off the bat, and then when they were mounted on the tailgate as the flap flexed the screws pulled through the plastic. Not impressed

Not visible when reversing

The actual brightness of the lamps was disappointing. They are as bright as incandescent bulbs, not brighter. I installed a couple of these on the back of my Skoolie. I use them as reverse lights. The lamps look bright, they don't shine very well. Incandescent bulbs I took were no worse than these. I bought these lamps to improve my eyesight!

Nice set of bright surface mount LED lights

Great lights. Bright, beautiful, easy to install. Surface mount style that worked great on the wood truck platform I installed them on. Can't comment on durability but initial light quality seems great. I HAVE TO BUY A NEW TURN SIGNAL RELAY THAT WAS LED COMPATIBLE (about $10 at the parts store) to keep the turn signals from flashing too much.
