Converts to monopod - the center column connects to the tripod leg to form a full size monopod. Telescoping 2 section center column - the column can be extended for additional height. Accessory mount - a 1/4"-20 mount is located on the shoulder for attaching additional Accessories. Arce-Swiss style camera plate - this camera plate will work with Most other Arce-Swiss style heads.

Dangerously easy for the camera to slip out of the mount

The small knob that screws onto the ARCA plate cannot be properly tightened with a large camera (I have a Nikon D7500) which can lead to this that the camera slips out and fall on the floor. Extremely bad design ruined my very good camera lens. My suggestion to the company: put an Allen wrench on the grip so users can tighten it properly. In fact, all the twist locks on a tripod are difficult to keep in place when you're walking around with the tripod extended.

MeFoto roadtrip S tripod - ideally light - suitable for backpack

I have two Gitzos. One is too big and heavy except when shooting with a large telephoto lens. Another fairly light conductor that I have used for both plein air painting and photography. However, I needed something that could fit in a backpack and still hold a decent weight. MePhoto was perfect. This is similar to what Richard McKinley uses outdoors. I have used it and find it fits perfectly with the Heilman backpack and plate holder. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple alternative…

Great if you're looking for a tripod that doesn't work

You know that feeling when you're outside and in a hurry to get that perfect shot? If you need a tripod that can be quickly removed and installed with ease, THIS TRIPOD IS NOT FOR YOU. There are small white protrusions between the legs (inside the tube and outside the tube). They get stuck, and the only way to press the legs once you're done is to remove the white tabs entirely. Great, now you can close it but without the petals the stem flies off when you try to unfold it. I kept trying to…
