Works great with my A7RIV, A7SIII and A1

Works just as well as the much more expensive Sony. Meike has been building great grips for Sony cameras for years and knows what he is doing. I saved enough by using Meike pens to pay for another good lens. For your health

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Functionality

The best camera battery from Sony!

I was a bit concerned about ordering a different manufacturer's battery grip for my A7R4. That has all changed with the professional Meike MK-A7R IV PRO battery grip. I haven't used it in the field yet. I can not wait. Feel, fit and finish get an A! I have a few shoots in a week. I will add a review from the section.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

Will not work with available L brackets.

Nice handle with remote control. However, if you want an L mount, the options available are designed to work with the Sony grip. If you look at the photos taken by one of the reviewers and show them together, you can see that the 1/4 screw hole is in a different location than the original Sony grip.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Just like Sony original! I have both BUT Meike is the winner!

Hey, even I have a Sony battery grip for my A9II, I have a second one for my A7R4, but Meike has one! Pretty good, and if I had known that sooner. I would like 2 makeup for my 2 Sony cameras! Yes. You must buy it! Have one! Cheap and comfortable texture and feel is much better than Sony! Works for Sony A9ii AND A7R4, JUST FOR YOU! Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Long wait

Not as good as the Sony version but ok for the price

I have both this and the later purchased Sony version. Most reviews focus on cost savings compared to what Sony is claiming for their version, and they're right. However, the value is subjective. So why is it worth 1/3 of Sony's grip? The Sony is made from higher quality materials, which shows in every aspect of the grip compared to this cheaper aftermarket version. Sony supports USB-C charging, which is very important to me. Why would I remove the batteries and put them in a dual charger when…

Hey, it works! в Camera and photo

For such money it is incomparable. The price of the Sony grip is indecent. The grip feels good and even matches the texture of my Sony A7RIV. The only difference is the switch that turns off the device. It's not a lock feature like Sony's. So what. When you start, turn it on. When you're done shooting, turn it off. I see no reason to spend more on the Sony version. I love this shop!

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Does it work with A7SIII and A1

I have tested the MK-A7R IV grip with Sony A7SIII and A1. That works fine. However, it's cheaply made and I'm concerned that the battery latch will eventually fail. It's a shame they couldn't make it a bit stronger because that's the only complaint I have about this grip. It's not as refined as the Sony model, but it's four times cheaper! In the Q&A section, someone replied that it doesn't work with the A7SIII. Not sure why. The Sony version of this grip works with the A7R IV, A7SIII and A1 so…

That does not work. Go to Accessories Digital Camera

This is my second purchase of this grip, the first time for my A7Riv (and it worked great!) which I later sold. I bought it again when I got my hands on the A1 and saw that it was said to support the latest generation of Sony Alpha cameras (A7Riv, A7Siii, A9ii, A1) and bought it as soon as I installed it , it was DOA. I've tried all my Sony branded batteries in various configurations, using two batteries and sometimes one, and nothing has worked. I was planning on starting the return process…
