I got this for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. She wanted to decorate it almost immediately and they give you more than enough gems, stickers and glitter glue than you could possibly need. So we saved the stickers for other crafts. It turned out to be very similar to the "princess" my daughter loves. Also, it was very easy for her to place and glue the gems. As always, Melissa and Doug products continue to be popular in our homes. Until earlier this year, I didn't realize how many different things they were selling. I have a 5 year old who is probably her biggest fan. And I'm a fan as many of their items are add-ons. They are always delivered quickly, cheaply and are a lot of fun for the little ones. This magic mirror is very cute and easy for kids. I particularly like that the glitter glue comes out of the tube easily enough, even for small hands.

We used this project for my 5 year old daughter's party and the girls took an average of 15-20 minutes to complete. I love that this set has everything and we don't have to worry about getting paint or trim separately. Considering the rest of the party will be used for lunch and gift wrapping, the duration of the project would be ideal for a 1.5 hour party.
