Fun for 2 year olds

My son enjoys playing with this puzzle. He is 2 years old and is happy when he puts the puzzle pieces in the right place. He really likes the D because it recognizes Donald Duck and the M because of Minnie Mouse. Although there are many Disney characters he doesn't know, he still likes to hold up the letters to see who's behind them. I play with him and he likes it when I tell him who they are. It's fun for both of us :)

Pros
  • Sturdy wooden construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good puzzle but something is missing

This is a great puzzle for developing fine motor skills. Small grooves on the letters help little ones pick up pieces with the fibers of their thumb and forefinger. The only thing I like better about this puzzle is that the letters are printed on the board under the puzzle pieces to help the younger ones figure out where the letters go. There is another puzzle with Melissa and Doug that is much larger but has letters printed on the bottom of the board. In retrospect, I probably could have done…

Pros
  • Includes 26 wooden pieces
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great option for a Disney fan!

As a huge Disney fan I had to buy this for my little one and he loves it! We also have a few other similar alphabet pins and large jigsaw puzzles from Melissa and other brands and this one isn't as strong and the pieces are definitely smaller but my 2 year old has no problem with it. This puzzle is a bit harder than the ones where the picture above is the same as the picture below, but I think it's actually better for toddlers to learn their alphabet so they don't just compare the same picture…

Pros
  • Every detail reveals a hidden image.
Cons
  • Some problems

The quality is not bad but I have two issues with the product

The quality is not bad but I have two problems with the product: 1- the cutouts do not match the letters so it is not easy for my two and a half year old girl to understand which letter she is looking for on the board 2 - if If your child really doesn't know their classic Disney characters, you will be disappointed, for example the letter f has a cat in the picture. Of course I know the cat's name is Figuero, but my daughter, who is learning letters and sounds, is confused and says there is no…
