My kid LOVES this "mower". The only reason it got 4 stars is because it should have inserts to slow down the wheels. For a child just starting to walk, the wheels move too fast, making it difficult to move around easily. We put some felt in the rear wheels and it worked like magic. Now my baby is a pro, we removed the felt. But overall it's a good looking, well made toy and my kid is obsessed with "mowing" our house.

Our 9 month old has just started rolling over the edges of tables and we wanted to encourage him to move around. We bought it and she loves it. It takes a few drops and tears to get used to, figuring out why it's moving too fast etc., but she gets the hang of it and looks gorgeous walking across carpets, rugs and hardwood floors. We're big Melissa & Doug fans and this one didn't disappoint. It was easy to put together and our little girl loves running around the house (or now it's more of a sprint). It is very durable. We looked at the Ikea counterpart but found it wasn't strong enough for kids to pull up without tipping over. It is great. She practices walking and also develops some of her balance skills as her little brain can figure out how to get up or how to hold on so she doesn't lose her balance.

The first box I received was a different color and slightly different from the toy so I had to go back to get the correct item. I like the softer color palette, it suits my daughter's room. She loves weaving beads. At 11 months she was already able to move this toy around the room while she was learning to walk. She is not interested in it unless her father or I encourage her to use it. This rollator is way better than I expected. All edges are rounded and smooth, colors are bright and clear! I see some people complaining that it's "tiny" but that shouldn't be blamed on the product. a handle with arms at shoulder height, and bigger kids should still be able to push it. Assembly was easy, and I really appreciate the simple pleasures with no batteries, annoying lights, and songs.

After much research, I chose the Melissa & Doug Chomp and Clack Walker because the rubber helps it grip better on hardwood floors. There are other options for this, but they either cost a lot more or are very light and easy to tip over. Can I be honest?. These rollators are sooooo pretty to look at and carry around the house - compared to the overly colorful ones. It just doesn't hurt your eyes!
