👗 Interactive Melissa Doug Magnetic Dress Up Pretend Dolls & Accessories: Boost Creativity and Imagination Review

Melissa and Doug are known for the quality of their products and this is no exception. It was a big hit with my 5 year old granddaughter but I deducted a star because some of the items/accessories are very small and easily lost (or swallowed by younger children). Bad with a magnetized puzzle. I also wish there was some sort of lid on the storage box.

Bought as a treat for my granddaughter. They sat on the robes until they earned them (keeping their room tidy, collecting toys, etc.). You worked very hard to earn them and play with them. They are durable and easy to play. I bought them paper dolls, they are strong but difficult to work with. They are magnetic and items will stay in place when attached. I highly recommend them, I bought several sets for them.

I love this toy for my 2 year old girl. I'd say it's more suitable for older children because of the very small parts, but my daughter is really good at not putting small objects in her mouth. I like that it is made of wood and the doll itself is very thick. This is a very cute item, ideal for Ariel or Princess lovers. The only thing I would change is that it needs a lid to keep the contents safe and less likely to get lost.

My granddaughter loves these figures and all the costumes. She can play for an hour with different characters (we have 4 Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Ariel and Belle) who talk to each other, plan parties together and dress up for them. With what she knows from the films these characters act in, she can create situations and dialogues for hours. I love Melissa and Doug. They create quality toys that stimulate the imagination and encourage interactive play.

Melissa and Doug scored again. We have The Little Mermaid and Belle for my 4 and 2 year olds. They both love them and make a great travel toy. I wish they came in a travel friendly suitcase. We end up using a zippered bag to take with us on vacation or to chat over dinner. I just picked up Sophia and Peppa from a friend, so I'm sure the kids will continue their love. Some pieces are very small and therefore not suitable for children who constantly put things in their mouths. My 2.5 hit or miss…

Melissa and Doug are a great brand for quality, durable children's toys. Most toys are so cheap that after a while they get thrown away. I'm glad there is a company that makes toys that can be passed from generation to generation like the ones my parents played with and passed down to me. I loved paper dolls as a kid, but they always broke. These magnetic wooden dress-up dolls are a great alternative to traditional paper dolls.
