Melissa & Doug Unisex Playtime Clothes Review

I like Melissa and Doug's products, but they were a little disappointing. The fabric has fallen off badly after a month of use. Also, pants and shorts don't stay. They need a bit more fabric and elastic to fit the dolls they are made for. I sewed an elastic band to the hat to hold it up otherwise it will fall off the doll right away.

Very cute and high quality although maybe a little big for a 12 inch doll. I have an old 12 inch Flintstones Bam Bam doll that I'm having such a hard time finding boys clothes for. And while they "fit," the tops are loose-fitting, the shorts are very baggy, and the pants are way too long. Luckily I can sew so I can alter them to fit him better. Fourteen inch dolls might be a more accurate minimum size for them.

Pros: Doll clothes look well made. They are sweet. I love that they go together and are separate instead of just more "sleeping". Cons - although I bought them for Melissa and Doug's 15 inch dolls, they are VERY snug. If I tried them on someone I would return them a size larger. Also, the hat doesn't fit. Bought for my daughter's 14 inch perfectly cute Target doll. The clothes fit perfectly and look well tailored. However, the hat is terrible. Head. I'm glad we opened the package first, otherwise we'd be constantly told to "let it go" (which would be impossible without gluing). Otherwise, I love that it has 2 outfits and a coat. A bit pricey but it fits the doll and honestly we don't need tons of outfits like some of the other packs here at Revain.

My daughter wanted a boy doll for Christmas. I ordered "Baby Hoot Hoot" from Paradise Galleries (great doll). I wanted to give her a carrier for him and clothes as she loves dressing her dolls. Adorable outfit, slightly larger than the real twins Melissa and Doug. The outfit sits baggy on the doll. The hat doesn't fit and I don't see any doll other than a very small one, and the doll must be so small that the rest of the outfit is too big.
