Very annoying to hold up

It's very heavy so it falls down at every opportunity and blocks fall out. I don't even know where half of them are anymore. Wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • There are nuances

Have fun! for early development and activity toys

Nice toy! I personally feel that the numbering should be the other way around or not numbered at all. Since each block has a different weight, the numbers actually have no meaning. Regardless, my kids love it!

Pros
  • in stock
Cons
  • approx.

Great idea: Early Activity Toys

I love this toy and the idea behind it. However, the actual compensation is not always accurate. It definitely won't be accurate unless the surface it's on is flat, but I've noticed that on a flat surface it's off-center when it's supposed to be.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Only available in white

No true balance. suitable for early development and outdoor toys

When I first bought it it wasn't properly balanced as it should have been so I returned it for another one. The second works great, but if you want to teach true balance, this isn't your toy. It is durable and the bright colors make you curious.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Sad unit

Good but poorly balanced.

I like almost all Melissa & Doug products, but I didn't really like this one. It doesn't balance very well. When it needs to be balanced, it usually tilts to one side. Sometimes when my kids switch a few blocks to make it unbalanced, it really gets balanced. It's good for basic balancing, but not great.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
