As a preschool teacher, I find theater extremely important. Melissa and Doug enable me to purchase quality theatrical costumes at an affordable price. I bought this set for my 2 and 4 year old granddaughters for Christmas and they love it.

Melissa and Doug, you seldom disappoint me. This set comes in a nice garmey bag. All tools are screwed in. The hair dryer requires 2 AAA batteries. Don't worry, the scissors are fake. My daughter is 5 years old and weighs 55 kg. and it suits her very well. There are adjustable Velcro fasteners on the sides. This is a well made toy.

My 3 year old granddaughter just got her hair cut. She was playing hair salon with Lego or whatever else she could use. I liked her art but thought she would love this set. She got dressed immediately and had to "comb" everyone. The only wish is that there is a choice of sizes. Her robe fell to the floor.

It was a pleasure to see my girls (2 and 5) play with this set. Be careful not to cut with the scissors. I feel comfortable leaving them within reach of children. The hair dryer only blows cold air, but it's fine to pretend. I bought a couple of clips separately that use them as well. And the sticker on the mirror is enough to see your reflection without having a glass mirror to worry about children breaking.
