Funny toy! Can also be used as a chart!

All wood and well made. Our pediatrician suggested some kind of chart to track the child's water intake and we use it. Every time our kid finishes their glass of water, they can park their car! It's fun to stay healthy! You can also use it for any rewards/token system. We've been doing this for over four months now and it's still fun so it has the staying power (at least for our kid). :)

Pros
  • Smart drop-down counter encourages early development of math skills
Cons
  • unreliable

Boring for preschoolers, frustrating for toddlers

I'm a big fan of Melissa and Doug toys, but that definitely wasn't enough in our house. This is frustrating for the younger ones as the cars only come out at the very bottom or the very top and it can be difficult for toddlers to get them in. For an estimated age of three to five, this is just a boring toy. The wheels on the cars don't even move, so you can't even use them like cars in other game conditions. Very one dimensional and not very funny. To return.

Pros
  • Compact design
Cons

probably more fun for younger kids learning to add and subtract

Not my favorite Melissa and Doug toy. It's a nice idea but my grandchildren aren't impressed, they only played with it once and then lost interest. The garage is about a foot high and holds ten cars. You have to raise the bar to remove the cars one by one. It can be a cute counting game or math game. I think my grandchildren are too young to continue to be interested in it. I thought they would like to practice their colors but cars contain color variations that confuse them. For older children

Pros
  • Sturdy wooden construction

Great concept: toys for toddlers and toddlers

Interesting reviews on this product and I would like to rate this product positively. a toy. I would use this toy for teaching your preschooler. This means that you have to sit next to your child at all times and discover the full range of this toy. You can teach them colors, counting, numbers, and most importantly, fine motor skills. Don't let your child sit and cry because they can't drive cars. This is the whole point of toys and motor skill development. It should be perfectly straight and…

  • Great gift for children aged 3+ to play without a screen

Attractive, sturdy, educational and imaginative

My 18 month old loves to stack things and is pretty good at stacking rings and blocks of wood so I chose this to broaden his stacking horizons though it's been said for ages 3+. So yeah, it's a bit of a concept for his age, which can lead to some frustration on his part and dependence on my help. However this is a very smooth and durable toy which I am sure will last a long time and the colors are true to the picture. The garage concept is very cool and creative, it combines learning (numbers…
