Received the item today, ordered Memorex MB2069D, this model is not shown anywhere but is identical to MB2059D. The packaging was in good condition, however the slide switch cover on the back of the box was dangling and would not reattach. Doesn't seem durable at all. However, it works. We are thinking of returning.

I like this voice recorder. It's lightweight and durable, has a great design and is well made. The recording quality is excellent, much better than recording on a phone. I use it for my lectures and it's so great to have lectures anytime I mess up with my homework. Either way, it's worth every penny and I would recommend the recorder to anyone. Thank you Memorex.

I use a voice recorder to record audio books on long trips. I usually use the Olympus VN-541PC (which I give five stars). My Olympus ran out of memory this morning and had three hours left. I stayed with Rite Aid and got a Memorex recorder which is a much inferior product. The Memorex recorder will turn itself off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
