DO NOT BUY! in DVD+R discs

3 are out of service. And the worst thing is that the last disc broke my DVD drive! The discs kind of burned out my burner with all the errors. Prior to these drives I never had a problem with my drive. Luckily my computer is covered by DELL's full warranty (love it) and they sent me a new drive. I tried one of the "success" burned discs on a new disc and it still skipped so I threw them all away. Bought another brand. dvd+r DL and they work great, no errors or omissions. Yes!

Pros
  • DVD+R 3-pack for recording digital videos, music, photos, etc.
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Well recorded, not playable

$10 game. Based on previous reviews, I updated my NEC drive's firmware before burning. The disc burned flawlessly with no errors. The disc started playing normally in my DVD player, but midway through the movie when the layers needed to be switched, the player struggled and stuttered and couldn't play anything on the second layer.

Pros
  • Compatible with most 2.4x DVD+R recorders; 1 year warranty
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Don't waste your money

I read other reviews before deciding to take the risk and buy these DVDs. I have a new NEC dual layer drive with the latest firmware and thought it was fine. I was wrong. I tried burning two DVDs and both failed. I tried the same content on the Verbatim DVD and it worked fine. Revain allowed me to return the order but only refunded 75% of my money after shipping cost.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship

DO NOT BUY! for blank media

I bought 2 packs (6 discs), 3 discs burned with lots of skipping and freezing and 3 failed. Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Lots of stands suitable for accessories and consumables

The quality of these discs is questionable as I made at least 1 "stand" out of every box of 3 (I bought 6 boxes). Disk error - media error. I have previously used Verbatim discs (Double Layer and others) and out of 6 discs 1 burned badly which may have been operator error as it was one of the first discs I burned with a new drive. Unfortunately, "Memorex" isn't a manufacturer anymore (my dad worked there a long time ago when they actually made "Memorex" branded products - reels of tape, etc.)…

Pros
  • Featured
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
