I ordered a medium as a 5' 8', 145 pound male and it is very small on me. If I lift both arms, the jacket comes up to about my nipples. Apart from being small, it also faded and looked incredibly worn after just a single wash and believe me, I am not opposed to the vintage look, but this jacket just isn't for me. I would keep shopping.

This shirt fits small. I am 5'5 and this fit tight; I ordered Medium first and the shoulder is narrow and the sleeve is really tight to the arms. I gave that one to my wife, and ordered a large and it's still tight in the arms. You would think that this is something that should be designed with more leeway so you can wear over long sleeve shirts. This only fit super skinny people.

Nice shirt and slacks combined with a ratty and wrinkled field or jean jacket. For me this jacket was perfect for that. I got a lot of compliments on the jacket when just trying it on. No inner lining, so this is more like a thick denim shirt than what I would think of as a jacket. That being said, it definitely works as a outer layer for fall weather that hasn't yet turned cold. Fabric is 100% cotton, but it has kind of a smooth suede-like feel.Machine wash cold, and low heat or "line dry in shade” recommended. Made in China.

The fabric is comfortable, heavy enough to support objects in the pockets (i.e. cell phone, wallet) without sagging or having the cargo fall out.
