Dissapointing changes to my favorite shorts

The pockets have been changed from Velcro closure to snaps, which are hard for me with some arthritis in my hands. Also, the front edge of the pocket flaps are permanently stitched down along with the stitching that attaches the pocket itself to the garment. I can't fix it easily. I will have to take it to an alteration service. Not cost effective given the price of the garment.

Make sure your size is accurate I did and I am fine

I have a pair of these from 20 years ago and this product is more flimsy . May have ordered the wrong product but I am still satisfied and I am wearing them

  • The light colored ones are tight and the rest are right for their size.

  • I liked the original Savane shorts better because the side pockets were more useful on the front!

Poor design best in my review

Cargo pockets are practically in the rear of the shorts making it uncomfortable to carry anything in them. Design or quality control is poor.

Good Cargo Shorts, at a good price, what more do you want ?

I Liked both pairs I bought, although "Tarmac" color looked more Olive Green. Still good shorts. The length of the shorts may be too long or too short for some, making it difficult to find the right fit!

Perfect fit on my review.

Cargo pockets are almost a necessity with larger mobile phones. Flat cargo pockets look best. I'll order these again. That's my feedback.

Pant legs are too wide and long!

Savane shorts are very inconsistent with the length and width of their pant legs. I have several pairs of their shorts and each one fits a little differently.

I'll keep them, but.

I have been wearing Savane cargo shorts for many years and needed new ones. I would have given them a five star rating if they had retained two features I really like about my older shorts. They have replaced the velcro closure on the two side cargo pockets with snaps and there is no longer a pocket behind the right side cargo pocket to slip in a smartphone.The length is perfect for me ending just above the knee. The color is a nice shade of blue. The fit is fine.

Savanne fits great!

Savane shorts fit me better than any other I've ever purchased. I'm short in stature and most brands go well below my knee where these sit right at the knee.

  • This product is reasonably priced with good delivery and they look good.

  • The pockets may not be deep enough to hold larger items, such as a phone or wallet
