My son loves these! The drawstring is great and the shorts are long enough to go past his knees (dress code required). He's about 5'5" and thin.

I really love these shorts! First, they're easy to launder, which is helpful since I wear them a lot. Second, they're very comfortable. Third, they have REAL pockets, including a rear pocket. I like real pockets so that things don't fall out. The thing I like the most about these shorts is that they have a tie string that goes all the way around the waist, unlike cheaply made shorts which have tie strings weakly affixed halfway round; it doesn't take much for those tie strings to come loose…
