Belt OK but tanning/leather chemicals too strong

The strap is decently built, finished in black and I would rate it much higher, especially for the price. However, the chemicals left behind for tanning, finishing, or dyeing leather were very strong. The smell was so terrible that I had to leave it in the sun for a few days before I could wear it. For the price paid it was good value for money but the smell took it off my higher score.

Pros
  • Easy Snap system for changing buckles, Belt tapers from 1-3/8" to 3/4" with 5 size adjustment holes, Stitched edges for added durability.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Stiff and thin material

Runs small if you ordered a normal size belt or the ones I received had misplaced holes. The skin is very tough and thin, and it seems that it can dry out and crack after a short period of use. It seemed to give off an odor more chemical than leather. It will likely soften over time if it doesn't tear first. Your experience may vary.

Pros
  • Packaged and shipped from Anaheim, CA
Cons
  • Can I add something?

Good value for money! for accessories

I ordered this belt one size larger than I usually wear but I think it was a mistake. I ordered another one in a different leather in the right size. Compared to the old Cabela belt that was worn out, I found the leather to be a bit thinner, the belt a bit narrower, and the leather just as supple. But in this price range I find the price-performance ratio good.

Pros
  • zipper
Cons
  • ribbon

Revain wins again!: Accessories

I've been looking for a "Ranger" belt for a long time to replace a worn out Ranger belt I've had for many years. After searching numerous websites I turned to Revain and naturally found not only the belt I wanted but also at the right price. Very happy with the Revain purchase.

Pros
  • Genuine Leather
Cons
  • Factor Set

Short Size: Accessory

Runs one size smaller. Compared to existing straps, this was 2 inches shorter. You measure the overall length, but the inner strap is 2 inches shorter than the outer strap and not long enough in my opinion to fit with the loop that holds it in place. .

Pros
  • Premium smooth oil tanned genuine Ranger leather, a smooth classic Ranger model suitable for use with a belt holster or for a classic western look.
Cons
  • May cause injury
