I bought one of these on sale elsewhere and was so impressed I had to find a black one. As far as I can tell they are no longer made. So if you're thinking of buying them, don't wait too long. This is a very good belt but there are belt sizes all over the map. I bought a similar belt in a size 34 but it's two inches shorter. I bought another size 36 belt and it is about 4 inches longer than this belt. I send it back and buy size 36.

Since most pants today are made of stretch fabric, you need a belt that stretches as well. I've tried fabrics, they're good, but they don't always look the way I'd like them to. There are also skin-like stretchy plastics that are nice but don't seem to last long and look a bit fake. It's a creative decision. This is a genuine, durable leather belt that looks great. belt seems to be of good quality. When I bought the black belt, I didn't know it had a white thread. I thought it was ugly but I like the strap and the stretch is good. So I used black shoe polish to color the threads black. My only other issue is that the back of the belt has a cowhide texture and grabs/sticks to the pants making it difficult to put on and take off. Hope it wears easily.

Very nice look and elasticity just right. They recommend going up a size, not sure if this is necessary but this larger size still fits. I liked it enough to buy brown after wearing black. Updated - just bought my 3rd in brown, need to say more. And despite the heat and sweat of Florida golf, they're built to last.
