6 packs are nice, I always keep one by my side wherever I am in the house. Near the kitchen sink, my craft chair, bedside table, car cup holder, handbag and kid stole one. Not only helps with chapped lips, but also keeps your nose open to menthol fumes.

It's a bit thicker/harder than regular lip balm but the result is a very long lasting application. It has a nice menthol feel but not the real taste.

I was glad to see the original when I ordered the lip balm this time. I don't use it as I remember, it doesn't seem to have the same drug feel that I remember. I will return to Natural Ice next time. Mentholatum is excellent for healing all areas of skin. I used it mainly on my nose and lips when I was an avid skier and this is the best product for chapped lips! Excellent sun protection, great value for money, pleasant mint smell and menthol feeling when applied, tube does not melt. Some might think it's not hydrating enough for the winter, but I don't think anything is enough after trying over 20 balms and every oil in the world.
