Good solid replacement

Part fits my 2002 Glastron with Mercruiser 3.0 liter 4 cylinder engine perfectly. Opens 160 degrees. Keeps the engine temperature constant around 155 (fresh water consumption).

Pros
  • Thermostat
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Suitable as an OEM for spare parts

Good alternative to the OEM. Fits my 1990 Alpha 350 Mag Mercruiser. If you change the thermostat, you have to change this part with the case open. Don't forget the gasket set!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Worth the money - engine cooling and air conditioning

Worked on my 2005 Centurion Enzo SV230 with Mercruiser 5.7L Black Scorpion. The old one was difficult to remove and broke during removal. I'm glad I spent a few extra bucks to have it on hand during the repair.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Very expensive
