Soft, warm, lightweight wool

These base layer bottoms come nicely packaged in a quality cardboard box that I would be proud to use for gifting (even though these were just for me). The softness is second to none! The balance of lightweight fabric yet helpfully warm insulation is outstanding. The fit of the small size is almost perfect on my frame (5’11” and about 160 pounds) with the exception that the waist feels extra low on me. Admittedly I’m on the tall side with a long torso, and these are a great fit on my daughter…

Pros
  • 100% Wool
Cons
  • The pants are too long and bunch up around the ankles

Warm, snug layer in my review

These are perfect! I wear long underwear all winter and look for pieces that will insulate but not leave me feeling too thick. These are great under jeans and I hardly notice the extra layer, but stay cozy warm. I'm usually a 6 in pants and got the small, they're just right in the waist and long enough in the legs to layer with socks. I would recommend!

Pros
  • The Meriwool Lightweight Merino Wool Thermal Pants for Women are made from the finest quality merino wool, which is naturally soft and itch-free
Cons
  • The material is too thin to provide adequate coverage in colder weather

Divinely Soft, Lightweight and So Warm!

I can't tell you enough how much I totally love these! I work in a very cold environment and do a lot of physical labor so comfort in a base layer is paramount to me. These thermal pants, or "long johns" as I call them are sheer perfection. The Merino Wool is undeniably soft and warm and moves with your skin and acts with your body temperature to keep you warm. It is so breathable that you do not sweat and you barely notice you're wearing it because it is so comfortable. The quality is fabulous

Pros
  • The Meriwool Lightweight Merino Wool Thermal Pants are versatile activewear that can be layered under any outfit, making them perfect for everyday use as well
Cons
  • The pants don't offer enough breathability, leading to overheating

Can't be worn on their own

I love the blue color, and these fit ok. I used the size chart, and I'm at the small end of a Large, and it's fine (31" waist). If I were on the larger side, I think I'd find these too tight. Since these are 100% wool with no elastane or spandex they don't really cling or stretch, so the part at the tummy looks a little baggy on me, and it's very unflattering. Even worse, that little triangle at the crotch (look at the product pictures) gives major camel toe. It's so bad that I would not be…

Cons
  • The material pills easily after only a few wears

Definitely light weight, not suitable to wear alone

These are soft, and great for a pajama or lounge around the house type leggings, but from some of the photos they give the impression you could wear them as a legging in winter. I think they are too thin for that, unless your top is on the below hip length.Size wise I ordered the small. I wear a 26 in jeans and a women's size 2 in most brands. These fit well, slightly loose - so definitely not a compressive or athletic fit. I could have sized down but I am always wary of wool shrinking on me if

Pros
  • The thermal properties of the merino wool material help to regulate body temperature, keeping you warm and cozy on cold days
Cons
  • The material is not durable and wears out quickly

Soft and Cozy: my feedback

This is a great base layer. Not super thick, but very soft. Has a nice loop sewn in at back for hanging. FYI: it is a line dry item. Love the packaging, cute box!

Pros
  • The Meriwool Lightweight Merino Wool Thermal Pants are available in a wide range of sizes, ensuring a perfect fit for all women
Cons
  • The pants don't provide enough insulation when wet

Itchy and has little stretch

I wanted to love this, but it's just not comfortable. I tried washing it with my favorite detergent and softener, but it didn't help. It is soft, but it's just too itchy which is not as it's described to be. The material has very little stretch so make sure to either size up or really know your size.

Pros

Cons
  • The pants don't offer enough stretch, limiting mobility

These run large, but look cute.

Our measurements for reference are:5'3", 140 lbs., shoulders 17, bust 39, bra 38C, underbust 33, waist 33, hips 39. We ordered a size Large per the size chart. Unfortunately, the Large is very baggy on us despite the size chart saying it was appropriate based on our waist size. Such is life.As far as being a base layer, we like the light blue heather color very much. The fabric is soft and stretchy. The legs are plenty long on our petite frame. I think if we had gotten the next size smaller, we

Pros
  • The fabric is naturally stretchy and flexible, providing maximum mobility and freedom of movement
Cons
  • The pants are not suitable for all body types and may not fit well on everyone

Super warm and great fit

The merino wool is thin yet warm, the fabric is soft and comes packaged beautifully. There is a slight itch but only at first afterwards you don't even realize you have them on. They layer great under leggings or jeans. True to size

Pros
  • The merino wool fabric is naturally odor-resistant, allowing you to wear your thermal pants for several days without worrying about unwanted smells
Cons
  • The material is too sheer and shows underwear lines

My new favorite leggings alone or under other clothes

Fit exactly as described. Not too tight not to lose I like the ankle fit. The color is a gray heading toward black. Which is perfect. There’s substantial enough to wear alone but are going to be wonderful this winter under other clothes. The fabric is so soft and the weave so tight. These are going to be my favorite leggings

Pros
  • Unlike other synthetic materials, merino wool is hypoallergenic, making it perfect for women with sensitive skin
Cons
  • The material is not hypoallergenic and may cause skin irritation
