Thick, warm and washable

Our kid loves these socks! They are good value for money wool socks. I threw the washer and dryer on low heat with no real problems. If drying makes them seem a little smaller, I tug at them, but it's not really necessary. Have already bought the next size up for next winter.

Pros
  • Thanks to its breathable properties, it can be worn in different seasons.
Cons
  • Maybe not soft enough for some kids.

thick and possibly itchy

Bought for summer trips. The size approached my daughter: kids 4 and women 6-7 for me. However, they were too thick for our purposes. Also not as smooth and pretty as other socks we have ordered. This is a recipe for itching and therefore whining.

Pros
  • Very well made, maybe a size larger
Cons
  • Cannot provide good support.

Fit was great! - my new rating

I have read many reviews that they run small. I still buy XS for my 4 year old who wears 8T-9T shoes. This size fits her perfectly. Socks are usually always too big for their age. As for softness, they are a bit prickly, but my daughter didn't think so and didn't mind at all. she loved her.

Pros
  • eat warm
Cons
  • May not be suitable for warm weather.

my excellent rating

Excellent, very thick, warm socks. A great deal compared to the Smart Cotton I also bought which was thinner and cost almost three times as much. We live in upstate New York. Bought for the baby last winter, will be buying more for both kids this winter. I think it's about drying the line. FYI, you can put them in the dryer but they will shrink significantly. My daughter was 5 last winter and I got her size very small. They are shrunk and fit perfectly. I washed and dried them all winter and…

Pros
  • Great socks for winter with boots. But better order one size up because they are tight.
Cons
  • May cause sweating and odor.

Good but too small for my rating.

My girl is 9 years old and wears a size 4 Big Kid shoes. I have large socks as the size chart says big big kids fit sizes 3-6. Out of the box they were only 2/3 the length of her foot. When putting it on and pulling the leg as far as possible, the heel of the sock didn't wrap all the way around the heel. Very good socks, just a little small.

Pros
  • Moisture-wicking properties keep feet dry and prevent blisters.
Cons
  • Extra care may be required during cleaning.

Excellent quality in my opinion.

They fit my 4.5 year old daughter perfectly and she loves wearing them. She is picky about some fabrics and how things fit her, but she has never complained in 4 months that they are uncomfortable for her. I would definitely buy them again! Update - a year later and I've bought them again in the next size up. The original socks are still in excellent condition.

Pros
  • Lightweight design makes it easy for kids to carry and move.
Cons
  • It may not be available in all stores.

Really good socks - my new review

My daughter wore them under snowshoes and hiking boots and around the house. They are very well done and would have been passed on if only she had a younger brother or sister.

Pros
  • They keep you warm but don't make your feet sweat! Love them when riding motorcycle in cold weather.
Cons
  • May not be available in all sizes.

Look and feel nice, but not durable

These socks were everything I hoped for until they frayed at the heel the first day I wore them. Not just a small hole. Huge 2 inch diameter hole. Thank god we didn't actually walk. The poor child would be unhappy.

Pros
  • I love these socks. Will order more!
Cons
  • Very rough and scratchy. My kid complains and won't wear them :(

So tiny: my review

I went by the size chart but these socks are so ridiculously small. I have ordered big tall kids who say they fit size 3-6. My child is 4.5-5 years old. They are several centimeters shorter than his foot. I put the sock on and pulled it up to my foot and the heel only went to the bottom of the arch. Pretty bad. Although the quality seems ok.

Pros
  • Very good. Granddaughter loves them and says they are very warm.
Cons
  • Limited color options.

women with small feet

I hate to say it, but I'm a grown woman who bought it for myself. My feet are size 6 and normal women's socks never fit. But they are perfect, cozy and comfortable. I bought two sets and they seem to be holding up well!

Pros
  • The antibacterial properties keep feet feeling fresh and prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with skin problems.

Happy. my pros and cons

I've learned not to tumble dry wool socks, but as long as I hang them out to dry, they're really worth the money. My daughter is happy and so am I. She has happy, warm feet for nature's preschool!

Pros
  • Good. Excellent quality. On time delivery. Thanks!
Cons
  • Wool can cause allergies in some children.

Super fat! the best in my rating

Kids love these forest school socks! So much so that I think they wear them on other days too! I like the color options so we can store them separately in the laundry room. As long as we dry them so they don't wear out in the dryer.

Pros
  • This worked great when my grandkids were skating. They kept her feet warm.
Cons
  • They can be washed like all other wool socks, but have halved and no longer fit.

Exceeds expectations!

These socks are well made, warm and the color is nice too! I would not hesitate to buy them again and am now looking at other items they make. I may have found a new favorite brand!

Pros
  • Provides excellent thermal insulation and keeps feet warm in cold weather.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who have trouble lacing.

Fantastic socks! Order more!

Excellent quality! My daughter loves the comfort and fit. She wore the first pair to bed (and she never sleeps in socks)! Great socks!

Pros
  • Available in different sizes for children from 1 to 12 years.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who are rough on socks.

The perfect merino for New England winters

I bought these for my granddaughter, they are her favorite socks. I bought another set, they are very well made and the most important thing is that your little one's feet stay warm! Great company, 90 day guarantee. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for well made merino wool toddler/kids socks. I will continue to buy them as long as my granddaughter.

Pros
  • they are so soft and fit perfectly
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with large feet.

Order more! good for me

My 7 year old can be picky about socks and he loves them so much I order more. I was concerned that the size Large might be too tall for his 1.5ft (maybe he's 2 now?) but they are just right for growth. Soft, warm and keeps your feet dry when you run all day in the Pacific Northwest rain (with Boggs). He can also wear it with his sneakers, which surprised me. I thought they were too fat. They are of medium thickness.

Pros
  • An eco-friendly product that is recyclable and doesn't pollute the environment.
Cons
  • May not be thick enough for some children.

Amazing socks! - my new rating

Super quality and great price. My daughter loves these socks. They keep your feet warm and dry all winter long! My new purchase of wool socks. Just don't dry them and they will last forever!

Pros
  • Thanks to them, my sons warmed up in the 30-30* heat in Iceland! He said they were comfortable and soft. Doesn't itch.
Cons
  • Not suitable for children with excessive sweating.

So thick and warm in my head

Love it. I bought these shoes for my son last winter and they were great then (he was 2.5) and they still fit great a year later. They are not worn at all and are as thick as day one. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to wash and dry, making them a practical choice for busy parents.
Cons
  • Possibly not breathable enough.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Warm and cozy yes, but

These socks serve their purpose, but when the child is active they turn into a fluffy ball. You can wear them, but they will soon fall apart.

Pros
  • Reinforced heels and toes prevent wear and ensure durability.
Cons
  • Wool fibers can shrink or deform when exposed to heat.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not 100% wool and fits our little one perfectly.

It's not 100% wool as advertised (it's 10% nylon and 10% stretch) and fits quite snugly for our 2 year old who needs it a little looser for him anyway. although they look warm. but disappointed with the advertisement compared to the real product.

Pros
  • Finally something to keep your feet warm. I even put a pair on her arms and they are super warm!
Cons
  • The socks were just too thick to wear every day.
