4.5 mile hike today and first use. Pants lose gum like snakeskin Of course my return window is closed but I will be contacting Merrell directly. I'm a Merrell fan I walked from AT (Sections!) to Tetons. The quality isn't here on this pair. :(

These shoes fit perfectly for our 6 year old daughter with very wide feet. They didn't look big enough, but she wore her first pair almost every day for a year. We have 5 acres that are very steep and wooded and she had no problems. We have just received our second pair and look forward to another year of good wearing.

Fit and comfort, my daughter says we are fine. Unfortunately, she couldn't learn how to tie those shoelaces. Too short and too smooth. Even the double knots were sometimes untied, and she staggered in her shoes for half a day. Then, after just a few weeks, the decorative swirls on the rubber broke and we had to reattach them with superglue. To put it mildly, disappointed. wasted money She now refuses to wear them as we have NO other shoes for her. Skip this model.
