Step Up in Style with Merrell Jungle Moc Nubuck Toddler Girls' School Uniform Shoes Review

I ordered a Merrell Jungle Moc in size 5.5 Big Kid for my son, but the shoes are too big for him. Also, I have the same shoes for my husband and he loves them. My husband has flat feet (slumped arches) and has always been in pain. These shoes are the best baby for overpronators. Anyway, I decided to save my son's shoes for later and placed a new order for the same shoes, just one size smaller.

10-year-old daughter doesn't "sew" shoelaces, but she really likes these slip-ons. They are very well done. FYI: They're expensive, difficult to keep clean, and when they get wet, they become as heavy as rocks. But that's all my daughter will wear!

This is the only shoe my son will wear and it holds up very well to the beating he gives them. When I first bought shoes I used the size chart and they didn't even come close. Now I use a tape measure and google and the shoes always fit perfectly.

This is one of two shoe options in my kids school. I chose this one because it fits. It is true to size and feels comfortable. I only gave 4 stars because they are not very durable. After just a few weeks of daily use, they wear out quickly and break quickly. I expect them to last longer for the price.

Fantastic shoes - buy a size up and they fit perfectly. Correct color and good construction. Made to take a beating. Upon inspection I could not see any visible defects/poor stitching etc. I hope my son's feet don't grow that fast - but I doubt it as far as it is ;-)

Very comfortable shoes but the fit was a little tight. Hopefully they will stretch when worn. It can only be worn with thin socks.

Had to send them back - they are too small for my son. He doesn't have very wide feet so I was surprised at how narrow they were for him. I love Merrell but these didn't fit.

These shoes are not the color shown in the photo. If you are looking for shoes with a medium to dark shade, do not order these shoes. They are light brown to light brown at best.

This shoe is great for my son, very easy to wear. I would only like to find in leather as suede gets dirty easily. Matte suede, although this might look better.

Bought a second pair for my grandson! He loves his nice big boy shoes! Perfect fit and very comfortable on the foot! Thanks for attention.

Got these for my son due to special requirements at his Catholic school. As soon as I received it, I noticed the quality of this shoe. They are very well made and you can tell they will last a while. Very easy to put on in the morning, no more fighting your little one for shoelaces! He claims they are extremely comfortable and easy to wear, so I'm very happy. Models like this sold for over $60 in stores, so it was nice to have Revain come to the rescue again. If you want really nice quality…

I have always loved Merrells and there have been at least 6 pairs in my family. The inner lining broke after a few days. For the price and the reputation of the shoe I expected more. I would return them but that would be a hassle so we just bought the insoles from Walgreens.

The elastic in my son's boots has stretched after only 2 weeks of wear. I bought the shoes in July but he only wore them on the 1st day of school so I can't return them even though they've only been used 10 days!

These are the best shoes for active kids, durable, waterproof, grippy and warm. Great for winter, fall and spring in the north where I live. Kids love them because they don't need to be tied. You can even use them for the gym as they are unlabeled.

As always, a great pair of shoes. I've been buying Merrells for my boys' uniform shoes for four years. A color warning though: these are not brown shoes! They are definitely beige. Unfortunately we didn't have time for an exchange as we were at school and I was hoping to rely on Merrells. Oh!

I find these to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. A break in the period was not necessary. They can handle any terrain and weather and are very easy to put on and take off. They also don't slip when I wear them. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

My son wears these shoes all winter! In fact, he tried wearing them to school with his shorts the other day. They are comfortable and durable. We get a new pair every fall.

My son destroyed the shoes. There isn't a single pair of shoes that lasts 6 months except for this one. The best part? No more annoying loose laces.

I bought this shoe for my son - I used the size chart on the website. However, the shoes run big. I usually buy shoes according to instructions and have never had this problem. From this I can only conclude that this size is the wrong size or that Merrell is a different size. Despite the sizing issue, the shoe feels very durable and pleasing to the eye.

It was difficult to find the right size but my son loves these shoes. He wears them at his private school, where there is a dress code. These shoes are up to the code and look great. They are comfortable and well suited for outdoor activities. After all, he is only 5 years old and puts them on without any problems.
