Bought these shoes for my 9 year old grandson. He likes her. He wears them on hikes, to school, rides his bike, walks his dogs, and plays in the mud/mud/grass/small muddy places. Edit! Years later we still buy them! These shoes are simply the best. My son was unhappy trying to fit into every other shoe I had ever bought for him until I found these about 8 years ago. Now he's 13 and these are the only shoes I buy him. They last 'til he outgrows them, they're waterproof, I buy them in black and they go with everything (trousers, shorts, even dressier occasions!). My sons tear up their shoes like crazy. Especially now that even the traditionally "reliable" and "high quality" shoe companies (I'm looking at you, Nike and Adidas!) are producing crap shoes, especially for kids. My boys can easily destroy a pair of Nikes in a week.
