The shoes are very comfortable, true to size. The first day I put the shoes on they felt good and I don't think they need a long break in period.

The last pair from Merrell's lasted for years after wearing them almost every day. These new ones came out of the box and fit comfortably and I'm sure they'll only get better as they break in. Ideal for outdoor use with slip resistance and water protection. Can also be worn with jeans for a casual, elegant look.

This is my third pair. Always exactly as presented. I am up for up to 10 hours a day in class. Easy to put on and take off without bending or tying. They loosen up with age but still fit my foot.

My husband is 82 and loves Merrell shoes. This one is slate black. He says it's shoes. So comfortable. Now he has 4 pairs of the same but different color. He likes these best, but usually doesn't like the black ones. These are slate black and smooth skinned and he loves them.

I took the wide one because the normal one fits me. The wide ones are a little loose, but there's enough room to add an arch sockliner when the factory sockliners wear out. They are comfortable, have a good grip and the outer leather is soft yet durable.

I prefer casual shoes because they are light. I've been using it for many years. This vendor offered one color to choose from at a great price.
